The 90-Minute Seattle Outing Formula for Parents

Some days do not need a full adventure. They need ninety minutes, a place for kids to move, and a way to get home before everyone melts down.

The formula

  1. Pick one simple destination: park, beach, library, indoor play, or short trail.
  2. Add one small treat: coffee, bakery, fruit stand, or easy lunch.
  3. Know the bathroom situation before you go.
  4. Leave while it still feels good.

That last part matters. A small outing that ends well is better than a big plan that asks too much from everyone.
